A closer look at what I use myself, and what this site is built with.

Claude Code is the official tool from the people who make Claude. It's Claude with hands, sitting in your project folder. It reads files, edits them, runs commands, sees errors and fixes them. You write "put a block with the latest entries on the home page" and watch it happen.

That it's official rather than third-party matters. Third-party wrappers work until they don't, whenever something changes on the other side. The official one gets everything first and doesn't break out of nowhere.

It installs with one command, and if you don't know which - ask it in the chat, it'll dictate the one for your system. First run takes about five minutes.

What makes it comfortable over a long haul: it remembers your project between sessions, through a file where your rules and decisions are kept. It can connect external things like GitHub and a browser - there's a whole stage on that below. And it asks permission before doing anything serious, so you can let it work without hovering.

Price: included in the normal subscription, but heavy use burns limits fast. That's the only real downside.
