The most common ones, collected so you can walk past them.

Building too big. Covered above, but it's mistake number one by a wide margin.

Not saving. Until you lose a day's work it feels optional. Afterwards it feels like the opposite.

Not checking on a phone. Beautiful on a computer, collapsed on mobile. And more than half your visitors arrive on a phone.

Believing "it checked". It says "done" and you didn't open it and look. Always open it.

Secrets in the code. The most expensive mistake on the list; there's a separate node further down. Read that one.

Endlessly improving instead of shipping. There's a whole stage on that at the end, and it matters more than it sounds.

The good news: everyone makes all of these, experienced people included. The difference is only that they notice in five minutes rather than five days.
