A classic beginner move: got the wrong thing, wiped the whole chat, went off to compose the perfect prompt again. Don't do that.

The right mode is a conversation. "This part is good, keep it. Remove that. Make this bigger." It remembers what it did and edits precisely instead of starting over every time.

This isn't a sign of a bad prompt, it's the normal working process. Even experienced people rarely get it perfect first try - and don't expect to.

One habit worth taking: change one thing at a time. Ask for a new colour, size, spacing and animation all at once and you can get a mess where it's unclear what broke. One edit, check, next. Sounds slower, works out faster.

And if it's getting worse after the fifth iteration, roll back to the last good version and come at it from another angle. Sometimes it gets stuck, like all of us.
