The only L2 that managed to grow and not be another cash-grab project, even competing with Solana and Ethereum in some ways. [Metrics are enormous](https://layerhub.xyz/chains/base), so people are hoping for a drop through Guild roles or contributing to Base via building or posts and shilling on social media.
