Deploying is when your project moves from your computer to the internet and becomes reachable. Frightening word, simple action.

On modern platforms it looks like this: you connect your repository, the platform builds and publishes it itself. From then on, every time you save changes it updates the site automatically. A minute of work once, and you stop thinking about it.

What will probably go wrong the first time (this is normal):

It built locally and failed on publish. Usually a small difference in configuration. Copy the whole error log and show the AI - fixed in a minute.

It opened but there are no styles. Nearly always wrong paths to files.

The domain didn't attach. Address changes spread across the internet at their own pace; sometimes you wait. If it hasn't worked after a few hours, then go and check settings.

Don't be afraid of this step. The worst that happens is the page doesn't open and you try again.
