Which proxy do you need?
Datacenter (DC) proxies - the cheapest option, $0.05-2 per proxy/month. These are IP addresses from server data centers - fast and stable, but easy to detect as proxies. Good for simple tasks: parsing, price monitoring, mass checks. For social media and anti-detect - not the best choice, though personally all my old accounts have been running on these just fine. Webshare ->

Residential proxies - real IP addresses of home users, $1-8 per GB of traffic. Websites see you as a regular person sitting at home behind a router. This is the main proxy type for working with accounts, anti-detect browsers and social media. Yes, paying per traffic isn't always fun, but you'll get way fewer bans. Also often used for quick abuses when you need thousands of different addresses but consume very little traffic. ProxyShard ->

Mobile proxies - real mobile carrier IPs, $4-10 per day. The "cleanest" proxy type - carriers share one IP among thousands of subscribers, so banning them costs platforms more than it's worth. Perfect for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Google. Expensive? Yes. But for serious tasks - irreplaceable. ProxyShard ->

ISP proxies - like residential, but static. The IP belongs to a real internet provider but is assigned to you long-term. $2-5 per proxy. Ideal for long-term accounts that need high quality over months - stable IP, high trust level, datacenter-like speed, but not a cheap pleasure. ProxyShard ->

My personal go-to for ages has been ProxyShard. No, they're not my partners and don't pay me for ads - I genuinely use them every day and recommend them wholeheartedly. Webshare used to be here too, until it blocked my account without explaining why, so now it only gets a nod for cheap throwaway setups. But everyone has different needs and sometimes it might even be more useful to grab proxies from some local service for pennies than from a top-tier provider. To each their own. I've shared my opinion - the rest is up to you.

Tip: if you don't need proxies and only have one account everywhere and just need to bypass certain blocks, it's easier to set up a good VPN. I'm currently using Kryon VPN - you can plug it in by key through Happ on every device, or just download their own app. Quick to set up and cheap, but you get every kind of connection and bypass and a ton of countries. Genuinely recommend it.
